Job description / Role
Our client in Qatar is an international cost consultancy who have a secondment agreement with a well known semi-Government entity in Doha, charged with developing the city in preparation for Qatar 2022. Projects include schools, educational facilities, cultural buildings, hospitals and residential areas.
As part of the team, they require a Cost Database Manager, to look after and maintain the pricing database for the estimating team and ensure procedural adherance when it comes to estimating and pricing of build projects. It would suit someone who is an experienced Estimator with a PQS / Consultancy background who can impart their knowledge on the Commercial department.
It's a great position for someone looking to see out their career in the Middle East. Maximum age for this role is 59, due to visa restrictions and please see below the candidate criteria which must be met.
Requirements
- MRICS chartership essential
- 50 - 59 years old
- From an Estimating / Commercial background with a Consultancy / client side organisation
- Must have Middle East experience
- Western educated
