The RoleThe RoleCost Engineer, working for one of the leading international EPC contractors, to be based in Oman Role Description: As Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for building a structured database for use by contractors and company with norms and costs. You will be responsible for assuring that cost estimates are consistent and build a Direct cost estimate with activity allowance for the execution phases and engineering and design. RequirementsRequirementsWho we're looking for The successful candidate will have: -Bachelor degree in Engineering and certified by the cost engineering council -At least 8 years experience in cost engineering for a major engineering consultant -At least 5 yeas experience in the oil and gas industry -Experience in providing direct costs at all phases in the development process -Experienced in providing review of bids and quotations from vendors on completeness and to complete the direct costs -Good interpersonal and communication skills |
