Job description / Role
To work as a "Cost Engineer" within a leading Multidisciplinary Architectural, Engineering and Planning Consulting Firm, on Transportation and Roads projects, within the Gulf area.
To Perform a variety of cost engineering functions encompassing estimating, cost control, budget preparations, forecasting, cost reporting under limited supervision.
Requirements
- Nationality: Indian, Pakistani, Egyptian, East/West Europeans
- Degree: Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Business Administration or Accounting
- 10 to 15 years of experience in cost engineering positions with at least 8 years within international engineering consultancy firms
- Rail experience is desired, but not mandatory
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge with Cost Control principles and techniques
- Skilled user of Microsoft office applications and typical tools for cost control
- Leadership ability with excellent problem solving , analytical and financial skills
