Cost Estimator

Job description / Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimation of E&P scope Home office work.

Cost Estimation of Home of services, Site services of HO personnel, Operation of Offices, General Expenses, Client Expenses, Business Travel & deputation to Site, Training, Studies & Surveys, Services including third party inspection, Transportation for Project Materials, Vendor representative at site and all project permanent material. The position reports to the Proposal Department Manager.

You will be required to perform commercial bid evaluation of various offers received through procurement department. You will also perform In-house estimate of bulk items in consultation with discipline engineers based on In-house cost data base. Analysis of cost w.r.t ordered POs and/or previous estimates. Distribute cost to various items as per Tender requirements and perform clients work breakdown structure (WBS). Provide prices for unit rates for changes as per Tender requirements. Maintain cost database for all previous projects and proposal.

Requirements

- Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- 5-8 years experience in estimation of Engineering and procurement scope in Oil & Gas / EPC Projects.
- Require excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to interact within and inter disciplines.
- Good analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in tight deadlines and to prioritize the activities as per current requirements.
