KEO’s Project Management/ Construction Management division provides engineering and construction supervision services. We require a Cost Manager to join our team. KEO are involved with some of the most exciting, challenging and sustainable construction projects currently being undertaken in the Middle East and internationally.

As a Cost Manager you will be responsible for providing cost and estimation advice on prestigious and internally recognised projects. This position requires candidates who are pro-active, assertive, detail oriented and capable of handling complex and multi-faceted issues within all aspects of Pre and Post Contracts.

Requirements

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in the cost estimation of general construction works such as public buildings, commercial buildings, residential buildings, roads, bridges and infrastructure.

• Thorough understanding of local cost information and sound knowledge of international industry standards, references and methodologies.

• Ability to accurately forecast budgets and cash flows, in conjunction with preparing proposals, cost reporting, bills of quantities, and tender documents.

• Be capable of producing written reports and power point presentations and actively respond to stakeholder requirements where necessary.

• Reviewing in conjunction with senior managers any potential changes or risks envisaged and in turn measuring where possible future saving or additional costs can be identified.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships on all project related cost, contractual and commercial issues.

• Proficiency using AutoCAD Measure.

Qualification: Degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 15 years post graduate experience and the successful candidate will be Chartered (RICS, CIOB, MICES, SCS) or equivalent.

Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous
