Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Counter Manager is responsible for achieving sales goals, acting as a role model in artistry, service and product knowledge and upholding the company's image through his/her courteous & efficient personalized service to our customers. This position is responsible for monitoring and coaching the performance of Make Up Artists, handle administrative reports, motivate/train/develop the team to achieve goals, have great artistry skills and lead by example.

Customer Service
- Demonstrate techniques in makeup, skincare, selling and service activities and Core Values
- Executes event strategies effectively
- Support/develop Make Up Artists to provide consistent, elevated service
- Cultivates a team atmosphere to increase performance and productivity
- Maintains a clean and hygienic work environment
- Establishes friendly and professional atmosphere
- Reports customers concerns and needs to the company

Business Skills
- Achieves sales goals
- Arranges and reports schedules for Make Up Artists and store
- Controls and communicates inventory needs properly
- Coordinates and follows the company's marketing plan

Administrative
- Submits required information timely and accurately to the Department Manager
- Is reliable, dependable and self-starter
- Conducts business consistent with standards
- Communicates effectively with Make Up Artists, Store Management & Management

Requirements

- Makeup Artistry skills
- Cosmetics background preferred (Specify length of time desired)
- Retail management experience (Specify a length of time desired)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with store people, coworkers, and the general public
- Man Management experience of a team of staff is mandatory
- Knowledge of Luxury cosmetics products
- Sales experience within a department store/store
- 2-5 years minimum of sales experience
