Country Com & In Learning and Development Leader- IKEA Dubai Festival City

Actively support the country Com&In manager in implementing the country business plan and the country Com&In plan to support the optimization of sales and our long-term growth by:
 
* Identifying the Com & in competence we need in the store Com & in teams in order to deliver the training plans. Based on country commercial agenda and the IKEA long term business objectives.
* Securing that within Com & in in our country we have the right number of Com & in coworkers and the right organizational structure within each store and S.O. to meet our country business objectives and global and national recommendations.
* Working with my com & in manager to educate our S.O. com & in team, other functions and the store com & in managers how to work with manuals, training and development tools, global directions and other tools. 
* Taking the responsibility for co-ordinating the national review and supporting the new stores for new store openings.
* Identifying the future recruitment needs using the country expansion plan and staff turnover and the existing level of performance.
* Developing appropriate recruitment tools which allow us to accurately test the competence of candidates. I take into account the unique recruitment of the com & in team to combine practical aesthetic and commercial skills.
* Using the com & in learning offer as the base to identify what training initiatives we need to deliver.
* Creating and securing the implementation of a com & In development and learning plan for the country. I use appropriate development and learning initiatives to ensure we engage different learning styles to secure competence.
* Ensuring the administration and organizing of training activities are effectively managed.

STORE SUPPORT

* Train the store com & in team how to use the recruitment tools and toolbox.
* Actively working with schools to identify potential sources of new recruits and encourages the store com & in managers to work with their local colleges and schools.
* Analyse the IKEA Customer Satisfaction survey, IKEA Brand Capital and other visitor feedback and use these insights to work with the store Com&In teams to improve the experience of our visitors and convert them into satisfied customers.

COACHING

* Sharing good ideas and coaching our store com & in managers with the learning offers.
* Working with the store com & in managers to ensure they use the com & in competence, the com & in competence staircase model and the com & in competence mapping to evaluate the competence and the training needs of their teams
* Ability to coach and educate SO Com&In colleagues, other functions and our store Visual Merchandiser/ Activity leaders on how to work with manuals, global directions and tools within my area of responsibility.

PROJECTS

* Support with the regional expansion plans whenever necessary including commercial planning, build up and opening phases.
* Supporting with new ways of working and business practices.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

* has thorough knowledge of the role and responsibilities of the Communication & Interior Design department
* has a passion for interior design, home furnishings and design

Minimum Experience:

* 2 years in a country service office com & in role or min. 3 years' experience in one store as com & in manager. Consistency of min 3 year in one store.
* Ideally knowledge of the IKEA Concept 

Job-Specific Skills:

* understands customer buying behaviour and buying decisions
* knows the competition on the local market
* worked with several management teams (management skills)
* Has thorough knowledge of the role and responsibilities of a com & in department.
