Job description / Role
Country Controller (Manufacturing) – Russia/UAE
You will be joining a large multinational market leader in its field!
This role will eventually be based in Russia. Reporting to the Group FD based in the UAE headquarters, you will be responsible for ensuring the profitable growth of the area by implementing and managing tight sales and cost controls and suggesting profit improvement plans. Helping the entities to become the best in class in all processes, controls, and information to management.
Responsible for the financial steering of the Russian market. Responsible also for assisting with the acquisition and integration of new entities in the region.
Main Responsibilities:
CAPEX - Ensure approved Budgets are not overspend
Cost Accounting - Identify relevant cost
Implement Shared Service Center for Accounting for Russia
Pricing - Implement correct price calculation
Calculate productivity KPI for each department
Develop/Review Business Plan for identified targets
Due diligence review for new acquisitions
Identifying product portfolio
Requirements
To be successful you must have/be:
Manufacturing industry experience
Fluent English and Russian speaker
Qualified accountant with 10-15 years of experience
Minimum 5 years in a similar role with a large Manufacturing company in Russia
Previous experience setting up shared services function and managing operations in multiple locations
Ability to communicate effectively with senior management based overseas
Able to travel
