The RoleThe RoleResponsible to ensure complete, timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting. Will also primarily ensure the development and maintenance of internal controls to adhere at a minimum to SOX and local statutory requirements; conservation of the Company’s assets (tangible and intangible); and, the training and development of a professional financial staff in order to meet responsibilities required by Corporate and governing organizations. Works with the Regional headquarter in Dubai under the supervision of the Regional Controller for Middle East & Africa. |
RequirementsRequirementsProven interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related area with a minimum of 5 years of experience, prefereably within a big multinational and/or industrial company. Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and SOX is required. Minimum experience and knowledge required: • - Audit and Internal Control (SOX) implementation and maintenance • - Statutory (accounting and tax) compliance of balance sheet   • - Development of policies and procedures • - Advanced Excel skills • - Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint • - Fluent in English |
