Employment: Full Time

Job Description:

* Evaluate Loan applications for Personal Banking customers, Private Banking Customers & Priority Banking Customers appropriately in accordance with PAD and Bank's Credit policy and ensure all front end Credit verification checks are adhered to Mortgage & Auto policy. Ensure to manage stakeholder expectation keeping risk parameters upfront.
* Provide quality 'Credit verification' service to Sales and PFCs in accordance with Service Level Agreements
* Develop and maintain requisite MIS for Credit approvals / reject proposals. UAE to facilitate proper portfolio risk management

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

* Evaluate and verify Credit applications for Mortgage Loans in Personal Banking, Priority Banking & Private Banking within delegated authority defined from time to time, or recommend and forward to higher approval authority where appropriate
* Scrutinise all securing documentation for product lending and ensure that these are in order before lending is established
* Monitor all customer documentation to ensure legality and compliance with group and central bank guidelines
* Periodically review the existing list of approved dealers for product lending and recommend additions/ deletions to the list
* Monitors compliance with Credit on the basis of MIS collected to ensure risk is controlled
* Develop a Credit MIS covering Product, Process and Portfolio
* Assist in issuing guidelines & circulars related to Credit policy and related matters
* Assist in development of Credit related product programs
* Ensure all Consumer Banking Credit reports are submitted on time
* To back-up for other Credit Analyst(s) during contingencies, peak volumes and leave etc and ensure smooth workflow within the Dept.
* To regularly coach, train & assess the team and provide feedback to them in order to improve the performance & motivation levels.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

* Professional degree (preferably MBA or Masters in Finance)
* Good analytical skills and ability to think innovatively
* Strategic planning experience and capability
* Good communication/ presentation skills
* Good financial analysis knowledge is required.
* Should be able to work with different and diverse teams well
* Good understanding of the credit/lending life cycle and key drivers of product performance with a specific focus on mortgages.
