Due to continued expansion and growth, we now require a Country Engineering Manager based in Doha, Qatar.

Job Description
The Country Engineering manager will have responsibility for the development of local engineering capabilities, oversight of engineering related activities, implementation of continual improvement processes and the selection and development of engineering resources.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain effective engineering work processes.Mentor and develop leaders within the engineering team.Has full understanding of the interdependencies of all engineering disciplines.Ensure that the expectations and agreed requirements of Kentz Business Units are met including service to ultimate client, profitability and delivery of projects.Lead Engineering activities in Qatar.Develop and maintain a dynamic engineering organisation, this should include ensuring the availability of competent, high-performing people and managing the engineering talent pool.Responsible for Qatar engineering budgets.Accountable for the resolution of engineering and design related challenges.Has full understanding of the interdependencies of all disciplines.Develop and improve relationships with company’s clients.Actively assist in development of repeat orders and new business.

Requirements

Candidate Profile

•Degree in engineering.
•15 years of experience in engineering, including a minimum of five years in management of engineering in an office providing engineering design services.
•Post-graduate qualification in management or administration desirable.
•Good understanding of computer based project tools.
•Conversant with operating in a matrix organisation.
•Has successful work sharing experience.
