Country Finance Manager
Salary circa 40k/month plus medical.
Our client is a multi-billion dollar organisation winning lots of new business in Qatar.
We're searching for an experienced Finance Manager / Controller to oversee the team in Doha.
Drives monthly and quarterly reporting cycles. Performs complex financial and operational analysis to support short term and long range strategic plans and operating budgets. Evaluates data, prepares forecasts, analyzes trends and presents results pertaining to operations, general business conditions and other areas.
Focus on Project profitability and Cashflow.
Plan and project manage the preparation of externally reported statutory financial statements.
Prepares accounts and other financial information in conformance with accounting procedures (including Sarbanes-Oxley reporting).
Generates and analyses non-standard financial reports, making recommendations regarding status of reserves and assets.
Drive consistency in reporting throughout the region.
Supports matrix management structure and Shared Services environment.
Analyses the effects of transactions on account relationships.
Develops and recommends revisions to accounting systems, policies and accounting procedures in conformance with accepted accounting principles.
Involvement in the future development of financial reporting systems for both reporting and forecasting.
Partners with operational management to drive business performance.
Leads and develops financial team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
Actively participates in the company Quality Improvement Process.
Excellent leadership skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills - English must be native language.
High level of professionalism, initiative and creativity
Problem solving/lateral thinking skills
Internationally recognised Qualification (CPA or CMA from USA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA from the UK only) plus 12-15 yrs PQE.
