Country General Manager - UAE

Our client is a multinational express courier business and one of the leaders in their industry globally

Reporting to the Managing Director - Middle East & Africa, you will be completely accountable for the P&L of the country business and resources in order to achieve and/or exceed the objectives yearly defined, in terms of growth and profit in alignment with all divisional and regional strategies, policies and processes to achieve the overall long term business objectives. Heading up the UAE business would have you involved in strategy implementation and business plan management, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations and Customer Service, Compliance & Risk Management, Health & Safety of all employees in the country.

Requirements

- 10 years of international business experience preferably with an express courier business or logistics business in the region
- Over 5 years of experience in a general management function
- Experience in operating within a matrix structure
- Understanding of the Express or Logistics business with similar dynamics
- A track record of delivering results in a country environment
- Fluent in English and preferably in at least one other language
- Good presentation skills with the ability of operating credibility at all levels
