Country Head – Retail Operations (UAE)

Job description / Role

This is a role with a leading retail firm in the non-apparel segment.
The responsibilities of this role will include being the owner for the Sales and Commercial Performance for the region. Also, overseeing business development and identifying opportunities for expansion is a key deliverable. Overseeing all cross functional interactions and business coordination with teams such as buying, supply chain, finance etc. will be a expectation as this is a senior role. As a business leader, development of the team and working closely with HR is required.

Requirements

Proven experience of leading retail operations at a regional/concept level.
In depth knowledge of and insights into the working of the retail industry in the GCC region.
Ability to work with a cross cultural team.
