Job description / Role
Objectives:
My client a leading provider of supply chain solutions combining Air/Ocean freight and logistics to deliver a tailor made solution. They have a global network and employ over 15000 people.
Reporting to the Country Manager with a dotted reporting to the Regional Head of Finance they are looking to recruit a Finance Manager for Iraq who will be responsible for all finance, accounting and tax related matters.
Main responsibilities:
* Participation the business plan development.
* Steer the short term planning (budget/forecast).
* Ensure compliance to the Internal Control System.
* Monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting.
* Cash planning and management.
* Supports Country Manager in all finance related issues.
This position will initially be based in Dubai for training purposes, with the intention of moving to Iraq once completed.

Requirements
Nature and length of previous experience:
* 3 years working experience in a finance position.
* 1-2 Management experience
Specialist knowledge:
* Deep understanding of financial and cost accounting.
* Tax Experience.
* Advanced user of SAP.
* Basic knowledge of freight forwarding.
Soft Skills and Personality traits:
* Proven people management.
* Project management skills.
* Ability to to prepare and work with reports.
* Ability to work with different cultures.
Language Fluency: Arabic is essential
