The Role


The Role


Accountable for:
•Developing IT annual budget in coordination with Regional manager/HO.
•Ensuring successful implementation and roll-out of all IT projects across functions in country.
•Monitoring and enhancing the quality and response time of IT support.
•Ensuring management of issues & complaints within appropriate time periods
•Ensuring strict adherence to P&Ps & prompt closure of audit findings.
•Actively support the implementation of the IT P&P and the closure of audit findings.

Key Roles:
•Build IT plan for country new projects according to internal clients & Central Bank requirements & HO strategic initiatives & plans.
•Maintain country IT budget and ensure prompt progress reporting, expenditures in accordance with P&P. Review and validate plans and changes to budget (subject to approval by the appropriate authorities as per the Bank’s governance).
•Ensure clear and comprehensive understanding of the business requirements and translate them into IT projects,
•Coordinate with HO to ensure provision for business requirements within the concerned HO business or support unit.
•Escalate and provide to Hub/HO systems amendments requests (with supporting details of requirements) that require specialized expertise, and ensure adequate follow-up on addressing these requests
•Coordinate with Hub/HO on customizing IT P&Ps (if required) and ensure they are communicated and strictly adhered to by all IT staff
•Address and resolve IT-related issues and complaints raised by internal clients.
•Validate & approve invoice payments and contracts arrangements within approved budget.
•Ensure compliance with audit requirements and follow up on resolving issues raised in audit report
•Provide internal clients with advice, expert views and recommendations with regards to their IT needs and the respective solutions.
•Provide all the needed support for IT Global teams and projects.
•Coordinate with HO on the efficient and effective utilization of IT resources

Key Performance Indicators:
•Internal customer satisfaction levels
•Successful implementation of all projects within the set budgets and time frames
•IT complaints handling turnaround time
•IT complaints recurrence / frequency
•Compliance levels with P&Ps & IT standards
•No. of open audit findings and the overall audit classification.

Requirements


Requirements


Education:
•Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized university

Experience:
•10 years of IT experience within a large organization at least 5 of them in a managerial position in a financial institution or similar position
•Exposure to different bank functions

Competencies:
•Fluent in English& Arabic.
•Established interpersonal & analytical skills
•Strong Project Management skills
•Strong business orientation and sound knowledge of banking business dynamics and fundamentals
•Demonstrated ability to communicate and work collectively with business partners
