Country Manager

Established for almost 40 years our client is one of the leading commercial banks in Bahrain, they provide commercial financial services to the local and regional market and an intelligent financial solutions to a highly customer base. They are looking to recruit a Country Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Business Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement country strategies based on proper assessment and analysis of target market in line with overall strategic objectives of the bank, includes studying, analyzing and monitoring clients requirements and economic parameters of the countries assigned
- Business Development & Relationships: Penetrate and optimize relationships and build quality client based in order to identify opportunities and cross-sell various products & services offered by the Company. Manage directly all matters relating to the portfolio including primary responsibility for the preparation, implementation and follow through of strategies specific to individual relationships
- Client Services: Ensure delivery of quality customer service in line with the banks standards in order to build & sustain robust customer/client relationship & satisfaction
- Portfolio Management: Develop and implement a mechanism to instill a strong sense of credit discipline and measures, monitor portfolio performance, take suitable pre-emptive action, detect and report development with adverse effects in order to ensure portfolio continues to retain desires level credit quality
- Remedial prepare and implement appropriate remedial strategies for non performing accounts in order to minimize loss and maximize recovery

Requirements

- Relevant degree and certifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an International Bank
- Previous experience in marketing corporate, investment banking products
- Experience in India and Sri Lanka
- Strong credit analysis skills
- Good interpersonal skills and commercial acumen
