Country Operations Head - Fashion - KSA

An established Middle East retail group is seeking a Country Operations Head for Saudi Arabia. The role is reporting directly into the CEO and is responsible for managing and delivering end-to-end business performance across 4 brands in the KSA market. This position also requires someone who has the capabilities to be responsible for identification, evaluation and due diligence of new business opportunities to support the businesses expansion plans.

Responsibilities:
* Fully accountable for the P&L delivery and manage the growth of 4 brands
* Responsible for increasing market share, market and property strategy
* Work closely in collaboration and in line with the brands HQ
* Develop country retail strategy and ensure implementation of the same
* Maintain optimum stock levels and drive business performance parameters
* Leverage customer insights, drive customer loyalty
* Implement brand strategy and optimize marketing spend
* Manage local supply chain to achieve optimum stock levels and markdowns
* Responsible for managing multi support function outcome
* Accountable for finalization of annual business plan, sales and operating budgets and monitoring implementation
* Manage project CAPEX control and new stores launch
* Benchmark and establish operational best practices and ensure consistency in implementation
* Monitor and analyse findings from competitors and market intelligence data and outperform competition
* Responsible for managing the teams' development, training and performance through performance management & coaching to ensure succession pipeline is built at all levels.

Requirements

* 15 + years of work experience, of which at least 8 years should be in a senior management
* Handled retail sales and operations in a large format retail stores
* Should have handled a large geographic region
* GCC experience preferred
* Strong business leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Analytical skills and critical thinking
* Ability to develop self & others.
