Crafts Supervisor

Job description / Role

- To coach and support technicians and perform work duties related to various maintenance execution activities in compliance with YASREF strategies and operational priorities (profit, safety, reliability, and environmental requirements).
- Act as an advisor to technicians and answer all of their questions, queries and provide on the job training.

Leadership Responsibilities:
i. Participate in identifying and executing improvement opportunities and action plans based on actual performance.
ii. Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by all direct reports. Manage the budget allocation for the Section on an on-going basis.
iii. Perform periodic performance appraisals for direct reports
iv. Ensure the performance of various assigned responsibilities and the conduct of the staff is in accordance with YASREFs policies and procedures.
v. Optimize the use of available resources in carrying out the assigned responsibilities and ensure timely completion according to set standards.
vi. Identify the competencies and knowledge required for direct reports to perform their assigned responsibilities, and develop appropriate training plans to enhance performance.
vii. Implement relevant business and operating plan objectives and control the Section/Unit budget.
viii. Cascade YASREFs operational priorities including profitability, reliability, safety & environmental requirements to all direct reports and support them in executing the daily activities in line with these priorities.

Requirements

- Fourteen (14) Years of experience in a similar role for Technical Diploma or Seven (7) year experience is required for bachelor degree
- Two (2) year Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Engineering
