Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Maintenance of lending portfolio aimed at quality customer service and maximizing contribution to Banks profitability without exposing it to undue risk.
- Analyzing financial statements, business processes of customers and preparing credit proposals as per standards defined by bank.
- Recommend facilities / excesses to the appropriate authority /Management as per authority matrix for approval through defined channels.
- Addresses referrals raised by various units in line with Banks standard policies/operating procedures within the prescribed timeframe.
- Preparing offer letters to the customer as per standards defined by bank.
- Ensuring timely completion of documentation and other formalities by the customers for securing the interest of the bank.
- Coordination with other departments for smooth operations in the accounts as per approved terms and conditions.
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of MIS and follow-up reports and returns for the Management review and reports for regulatory agencies as required.
- Ensures timely recovery of scheduled recoveries in the accounts on the due dates.
- Responsible for quality of assets in the portfolio. Follow up for regularization and recovery of sticky/special mention/classified accounts in the portfolio.
- Initiates and recommends corrective action including redressal of grievances/issues as required.
- Identifies the training and developmental priorities of the department in conjunction with the Training department and ensures that staff are adequately skilled to meet the future requirements of the Bank.

Requirements

- Omani National preferred
- Able to maintain lending portfolio aimed at quality customer service and maximizing contribution to the Corporate Banking profitability.
- Thoroughly understand banks policies and marketing strategies
- The ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
- Good analytical skills
- Must be able to work independently and meet the deadline and target to related work
- Must possess effective communication skills with strong oral and written skills.
- Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
