Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Produce high quality credit analysis of SME clients of the bank
- Maintain customer contact for obtaining credit related information and ongoing monitoring of credit
- Work closely with the relationship management team for each transaction and make a complete assessment of the associated risk
- Act as a Portfolio Manager with responsibility for the continuous monitoring of credit risk, as well as the timeliness and quality of all credit applications pertaining to individual portfolio
- Prepare financial statements spreads sheets, written credit analysis for existing and prospective clients at the request of assigned relationship managers
- Prepare credit renewals; recommend amendments to ensure that assigned portfolios are in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Perform industry peer comparison on a variety of operational and financial indicators
- Carry out cash flow analysis using a variety of methodologies as appropriate.
- Monitors the quality of assigned portfolios on an on-going basis
- Will work closely with the Client Relationship Team and Senior Credit Officer on all aspects of structuring deals and associated risk issues

Requirements

- Graduated with a Bachelors Degree
- Minimum experience of 1-3 years (Credit Analyst)
- In-depth knowledge of products, services and delivery channels available for SME clients
- Good working knowledge of market competition, and regulations for business banking
- Financial Analysis experience
- UAE experience within a banking or financial institution
- Arabic language is a strong advantage
