Job description / Role
Our client is a leading, global multinational company with operations globally. They are now looking for a senior, experienced Arabic speaking Credit Controller to take responsibility of this crucial department.
Managing a large team you will be responsible for the following:
• Manage a collection team to ensure all due amounts from customers are collected in line with customers credit terms.
• Investigate and implement solutions for customers with overdue or aged balance.
• Plan and implement collection strategies and engage in direct collection of receivables.
• Forecast and report Team’s monthly collections and ageing.
• Develop a high performance service culture within the team through regular coaching, feedback and identifying training needs.
• Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
• Manage and develop relationships with customers and the commercial team to gain co-operation in collection activities to meet targets
• Ensure Credit Management Policy is followed by Team and any deviations are approved.

Requirements
• Ability to drive the team to drive results
• Able to negotiate/influence and build relationships at all levels of an organization
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to convince and persuade including CFO’s, Financial controllers (internal and external)
• Lead a high performance team of credit controllers. Able to prioritise work and direct a team to the best outcome.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to perform under pressure
• Honesty and integrity
