The RoleThe RoleMultinational Express Freight company Salary package up to US$ 32,600 + attractive benefits Based in Bahrain Our client, a global Express & Logistics solutions provider, well-known for providing fast & reliable delivery to countries & territories worldwide, is currently seeking a Credit Controller. This role is based in Bahrain. In order to be considered, you must have relevant credit control experience with very good business English communication skills. Responsibilities: Ensure all aged buckets are cleared and customers pay within 30 days Collection effort required by phone, email and some will require visits. Customer queries to be resolved within 5 working days. Ensure cash application staffs have details of money received and which invoices money is being paid for. Ensure write offs are minimized Co-ordinate sending of invoices to customers Ensure remittance advice is received from customer. Ensure unbilled items are rectified and charged to appropriate cost centre if cannot bill shipper. |
RequirementsRequirements Minimum 3 years credit control experience ideally in the Middle East Relevant experience within the courier/freight/logistics industry preferred but not necessary Must be assertive; able to deal with stakeholders at all levels Must be a self-starter and can work independently Ability to adapt to a dynamic or challenging environment Very good English communication skills; Arabic skills would be an advantage The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines |
