Job description / Role
Our client, a world leading Multinational Pharmaceutical company is looking for a self motivated Credit Risk specialist to join their team in Dubai.
Reporting to the Finance Director this person will be responsible for planing and managing the companies credit activities as well as mitigating potential risk.
The Role
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following:
Credit Control and management of AR.
Collections of accounts receivables within established controls, limits and policies.
Maintain Iraq oversight in terms of risk and compliance.
Accountable for implementation and management of Credit to Cash policy
Review L/Cs received from customers.
Liaise with banks for the advice of L/Cs and request clarification where needed.
Liaise and coordinate with Banks.
Responsible and accountable for Global Trade Compliance policies corporate procedures and implement monitoring and reporting controls.
Review tender terms and conditions and distributor contracts as required
Requirements
The successful candidate must poses the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance MBA desired with Treasury or Risk management qualification preferred.
Between 2 and 5 years experience in a similar position
Good relationship with Banks in the UAE.
Knowledge of credit risk, banking, and financial instruments
Demonstrated strong project management skills.
Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
