Hamad Medical Corporation Emergency Medical Services (HMC EMS) aims to be one of the best EMS providers in the world.

An important component of this vision is the delivery of cutting-edge, evidence-based out-of-hospital critical care services across the State of Qatar.

To this end, HMC EMS is expanding its Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) program and is seeking applicants from appropriately qualified Critical Care Paramedics.

This exciting new role will combine clinical practice (in rotation across a range
of aeromedical and ground-based response assets and the control center),
clinical supervision of junior staff, research and clinical audit.

Requirements

Successful candidates will be experienced Critical Care Paramedics meeting
the specific qualification and professional registration (where appropriate)
requirements detailed below.

In addition they will be required at interview to present a portfolio demonstrating recent critical care practice and specific evidence of recent experience undertaking autonomous drug-assisted endotracheal intubation.

Applicants holding qualifications from Australia or New Zealand:

Advanced Diploma of Paramedical Intensive Care Studies or equivalent, and
currently recognized as an Intensive Care or Critical Care Paramedic by a
State or National body.

Applicants holding qualifications issued in South Africa:

Baccalareus Technologiae degree: Emergency Medical Care, and registration
with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Emergency Care
Practitioner (ECP).
