Customer Project Manager

Job description / Role

My client, an international retail solutions provider, is currently recruiting for a Customer Project Manager to join their team.

My client is a merchandising and in-store communications provider who ensures an attractive in-store selling environment is created which strengthens the customer's shopping experience.

The Customer Project Manager will play a key role in the sales process, where they shall be responsible of coordinating projects in order to relieve sales staff of their administrative tasks.

Further to this, they shall also be required to assist develop a design proposal together with internal/external design resources, procurement, purchase and added value departments.

The CPM shall have the following responsibilities:
- Calculate prices and finalise offers on behalf of clients, which includes an estimated delivery date
- Request offers from the company factories and external suppliers
- Use the internal ERP system in order to search for cost data
- Cost calculations and set end price to clients
- Responsible for generating accurate quotations for customers, in liaison with sales team
- Raising Purchase Orders for direct deliveries, stock and samples in the ERP system by checking against sales orders
- Ensure order processing is in compliance with the documented procedures
- Organise and communicate customer POs, order acknowledgements and shipping notifications
- When necessary, CPM will also handle in store installations as well as store checks/measurements
- When clients are in agreement with the Key Account Manager to perform test installations of products or to develop prototypes, the CPM must manage this process who is the key business contact for the customer.

- Good knowledge of order flow
- Previous experience in project management
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and written English skills
- Excellent phone mannerisms
- Fantastic organisation and prioritisation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure with time constraints and manage information
- Good team player
- Maintain positive customer relationships
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
