Job description / Role
3PL International Logistics Company
Tax-free salary Up to 12kAED per month + medical & tickets
Must be able to start immediately
Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strong relationships with customers based on trust, honesty and mutual respect.
• Ensure customer communication is pro-active and of the highest standard possible.
• Assist in the development of new business with existing customers.
• Ensure that all customer and shipment data in company database is of a thorough and accurate nature.
• Effectively communicate customer expectations to Operations Department.
• Contribute towards the development of the company QMS.
• Represent the company in the most professional manner possible in accordance with local legislation and all company policies / procedures.
• Expedite customer shipments with company overseas offices and Operations Department to ensure shipments meet expected time-frames.
• Raise invoices to customer in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Conduct customer questionnaires and obtain customer feedback on a weekly basis.
• Meet with customers as and when necessary.
• Regular reporting as determined by UAE Commercial Manager.
• Any other task (within company policy / procedure / country legislation) as deemed necessary by Management.
Requirements
• Minimum two (2) years experience in the freight forwarding industry, with exposure to operations (ocean and airfreight).
• Two (2) years UAE work experience
• Intermediate level computer literacy in: Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced level literacy in English language, both written and oral.
• Reliable trust / relationship building skills.
• Innovative negotiating skills
• Additional European / Arabic / Asian language skills an advantage
