Job description / Role
Our client is a global leader within the building material industry with products and solutions for all major application areas for both residential and non-residential buildings. They are currently recruiting for a Customer Services & Logistics Officer to expand and improve efficiency of the customer service experience of the company. Based in Dubai office the role will requires frequent contact and support to our Regional Managers and Technical Sales Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Order processing and preparing complex material quotations
- Tracking orders and logistics through to delivery of internationally imported product from various factories to various Middle East Ports.
- Liaising with freight orders and negotiating competitive rates
- Acting as point of contact for customers. Making outbound calls to customers keeping them informed and following up issues.
- Basic use of our CRM system to update data when required.
- Handling and directing enquiries to relevant personnel within the organization.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Fluent written and Spoken English
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Experience in a customer service role
- An understanding of International logistics and import/ export requirements.
- Personable character with the ability to resolve issues quickly and continually update processes to improve efficiencies.
- Experience within building materials desired but not necessary.
