Job description / Role
This position will provide hands on support to the customers with sulfuric acid production facilities in the Middle East region, in general. This position requires wide ranging technical knowledge, expertise and experience in similar fields, and excellent communication skills.
The sulfuric acid Customer Support Engineer will report to the Head of Customer Support. Significant interaction with Market Area and Business Line Sales and Services groups is required. Travel is expected to be 45-65% (domestic/global).
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Practical and/or theoretical knowledge of Sulfuric acid production and maintenance (minimum 3-5 years).
- Ready to travel.
- Customer oriented.
- Knowledge of automation is an advantage.
- Exposed to reliability analysis.
- Strong communication skills, English Language a Must, Understanding of Arabic a plus.
- Able to work independently.
- Knowledge of the ME market area and customers is preferred.
