Job description / Role
DPI/PCEF/PCRF Expert - Urgent
I am looking for a DPI/PCEF/PCRF consultant for six months assignment in Ghana. The person should be expert in the field as his main responsibility would be to gather requirement from various markert, and evaluate technical proposal from suppliers to make decision on a particular platform.
1. Vendor evaluation process i.e. Analysis of proposed products &Solutions in line with the Business requirements.
2. Detail Planning & Engineering of PCRF.
3. High availability design.
4. IP pool, IP addressing, VLAN planning for PCRF.
5. Dimensioning of all PCRF interfaces like Gx, Sp, Rx,etc.
6. Datafill / Configuration planning for PCRF.
7. PCRF integration support to PCEF, IMS P-CSCF & SPR.
8. Service Awareness Features Planning.
9. An understanding & Transforming Business requirement by defining & Mapping appropriatesPolicies & applying dynamic rules per session.
10. APN Migration strategy support.
11. New service introduction strategy into EPC network.
12. Bandwidth &QoS Management support - per subscriber/session/Service.
13. Planning & Configuration of Service awareness function by L3/L4 shallow packet inspection (SPI) and L7/L7+ deep packet inspection (DPI) for enabling flow-based charging & treatments.
14. Interconnectivity to transport &IP/MPLS Network.
15. Planning &Integration support to other network elements – VPCRF, S-GW, P-GW, AAA, DNS, DRA, DHCP, IMS Domain (P-CSCF) & EMS.
16. Analysis of Traffic performance & capacity utilisation Reports.
17. Supporting the Auditing & performance teams for network improvement in terms of performance, Capacityutilisation, redundancy and design.
It is 06 Months Extendable Contract at Ghana with Tax Free Salary+ Accommodation + Visa+ flight Tickets + Local Travel.
Requirements
1. Candidate should have thorough knowledge on Packet Core planning, dimensioning &engineering with special focus Policy Charging & Rules functionality for Bearersession management by implementing SPI & DPI.
2. good knowledge on IMS, 3GPP Standards& protocols like Diameter, Radius, IP/MPLS, TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP, LDAP, SIP,GTPV1& GTP-V2.
3. Shall also have knowledge of all interface used in EPC eco system, ‘interfaces such as ‘S’, Gx, SGI, Rx,Sp, etcBearer-Attach / detach process, QoS profile management, Dynamic Policies management, subscriber profile analysis, defining different control policies & Rules.
4. Additional knowledge preferred on support systems:Reporting & Monitoring Tools, On-line / Off-line differential charging, Lawful Interception, Integration with OSS & BSS systems, Reports Analysis, Optimisation & Troubleshooting activities.
5. Candidate should work as Packet Core Planning Lead and would be primarily responsible for EPC Policy Charging & Rule functionality(PCRF) network element, which includesPCRFelement Planning, Dimensioning & Detail Engineering.
