Job description / Role
- Review and enrich Business Requirements
- Gap Analysis between the business requirements and the existing capabilities in terms of services / business applications available in the landscape
- Performing key decisions such as choice of business application to solution the business requirement
- Translation of business requirements from
internal stakeholders in high quality Functional Architecture artifacts
- Validation of the implemented solution against the functional specifications to ensure that the project matches the business requirements
- Provide robust functional design as aligned with the business requirements
- Walk through of functional requirements to the business and technology stakeholders
- Functional analysis of business requirements by identifying potential problems and proposing solutions
- Ensure the completeness of the business requirements and add value by proposing best-in-class solutions
- Provide requirement clarity to Technical teams and Testing teams to avoid gaps in delivery
- Provide functional walkthrough of developed solution to the project stakeholders
- Ensure 100% compliance to standards / principles set by Bank / Enterprise Architect in solution design
- Maintain high degree of Relationship and professional rapport with any IT / Partner / Business stakeholder being dealt with
- Deliver high quality specs and ensure 100% completeness of solution
- Perform effective design reviews to ensure that no gaps are created in design
- Design sustainable and high performing solution
Requirements
- A min of 8 years of experience in the BIDW space
- Extensive IT functional experience in Business Intelligence and Datawarehouse functions
- Knowledge/experience of/with testing processes
- Experience in business process modeling tools (e.g. ERWin), information architecture (wireframes etc)
- User interface knowledge
- Detailed knowledge on the Data warehouse and Business Intelligence reporting for various units of the Bank
- Prior experience on the preparation of Banking MIS reports
- Prior experience of functional mapping exercise for data warehouse and Business Intelligence reporting
- Good understanding of accounting especially related to General Ledger, Balance sheet
- Strong know-how in integration of source systems such as Core banking, OGL, Channels, Loan Origination systems, Credit cards
- Good understanding about analytical/ reporting systems / Tools such as OFSAA , OBIEE , OBIEE Analytics, ETL (ODI, OWB), Erwin, Hyperion
- Exposure on OEDQ, MDM tools is added advantage
- Fair understanding about analytical/ reporting systems such as ALM, PFT, FTP, AML, De-duplication, Single view customer, MTM
- Been part of the various stages of project lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, build/configuration, testing and roll out.
- Prior experience in conducting Integration / design workshops
- Data Analysis/ Integration/interfacing experience
