Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Work with the Manager Information Governance to support data governance policies and procedures to ensure standardized data naming, establish consistent data definitions and monitor overall data quality for assigned data entities.
- Ensure that data management methodologies include the steps, activities, and deliverables required to consistently achieve high quality data.
- Ensure that the applications adhere to defined data management practices, policies and procedures. Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
- Insure proper communication with different business areas & ability to analyze the requirements
- Responsible for the definition, management, control, integrity or maintenance of a departmental or Enterprise data resource.
- Ensure all Data Stewardship information is maintained as a form of meta-data and will be made available to the department through on-line accessibility.
- Responsible for resolving ambiguities that may arise in the corporate vocabulary.
- Contribute to the business data model. Provide the business rules, definitions, etc. and ensure that each assigned data element.
- Has clear and unambiguous data element definition.
- Is being used consistently in various computer systems
- Has adequate documentation on appropriate usage and notes
- Documents the origin and sources of authority on each metadata element
- Provide business requirements. Work with IT analysts during the system development and provide them with the requirements.

Requirements

- BA/BS in MIS or Computer Science
- Solid technical background and skills in information management concepts, principles, techniques, and practice
- Minimum 4 years experience in relational databases, Data Warehouses and data manipulation language DML (SQL) - Oracle.
- Experience in Banking and financial institutions products & services.
- Investigation skills to be able to identify reports and data problems.
- Strong written, technical documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Language: English, and Arabic is a plus
