Job description / Role
A well known Bank based in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a Database Administrator this is a VP level role. The job holder will be responsible for managing the availability of the database environment for the Bank. In addition, they will also monitor and manage incidents using best practices to ensure timely and accurate support is delivered. The role is responsible for ensuring that the Bank's security policies are adhered to and that the SLAs between the Bank and suppliers are met. Responsible for the design, maintenance and implementation of database management systems. Provide the technical expertise required for design and development of the organization's database environment. This includes installation / patching / maintenance of the SQL Server databases.
Requirements
The candidate needs to have at least 10 yrs in an enterprise environment, managing technical teams comprising of two or more full time employees.
