Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives: To ensure an effective Deep Cleaning Programme is produced, implemented and monitored as per the Deep Cleaning Schedule and in accordance with Ecolog SOPs.

Main responsibilities: Health and Safety
- Adhere to health, safety and security procedures of the Client and Company.
- Deal with emergency situations in accordance with Company and Client policies and procedures.
- Maintain safe personal & hygiene presentation standards.
- Report and record all near misses, injuries, provide feedback to management regarding hazards in the workplace and any other health, safety and security issues which may have impact on Company business
- Develop and adhere to Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) in regards to all potentially hazardous tasks

Uniforms and PPE
- It is at all times required to appear in a suitable manner/ corporal hygiene must be irreproachable.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at designated places as dictated by signage or instruction.
- Appropriate uniform must be worn according to the job requirement.

Specific Job Tasks
- Develop and implement the Deep Cleaning Schedule within all sites in Iraq.
- Maintain the ordering and local stock levels of all Deep Cleaning materials and equipment.
- Check and maintain all COSHH storage facilities and MSDS records.
- Ensure the display of MSDS on all cleaning trolleys.
- Ensure all training records for Deep Cleaning Staff are up to date and any additional training is conducted, including daily Tool Box Talks on any chemical being used or practice being carried out.
- Conduct all Cleaning Specific Initial and Refresher Training across all DFACs in Iraq.
- Ensure the adherence to Ecolog Cleaning SOPs.
- Travel to all sites as per assignments from Senior Management and conduct spot checks on all sites for Cleaning Standards and Staff attendance, providing written reports to the Project Manager and General Manager.
- Supervise all deep cleaning tasks and staff ensuring employees know their duties and how to conduct their tasks safely and correctly.
- Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained to ensure a safe working environment as per the deep cleaning SOP.
- Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and serviceable PPE for employees to meet the establishments needs.
- Report any defects to the Operations Manager/Project Manager/Q&S Manager to ensure deep cleaning procedures are followed and to enable repairs to be carried out.
- Attending any relevant train the trainer courses and implement the training of other premises support staff as directed.
- Responsible to conduct, record and verify all deep cleaning checks within the site, including the end of task cleaning completion checklist.
- Other related duties as may be required to provide line management with the support needed to equip Ecolog employees with the skills and competencies to meet both current and future business needs/opportunities.
- Any other role as deemed within the capabilities of the individual to support the effective operation of Ecolog and as directed by the Operations Team.

Requirements

Essential:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Cleaning Supervisor within service support operation with a strong understanding of Food Safety programs, HACCP principles and inspection programs.
- Formal COSHH related qualification.
- Recognized Cleaning qualification.
- Supervisory management and/or training qualification.
- Experience working in an international, dynamic and multicultural environment based in remote regions.
- Excellent knowledge of Office Based Software, including MS Office Suite.
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English and/or Arabic as specified in your Contract of Employment.

Desirable:
- Worked in an Oil and Gas environment
- Experience in working with SAP.
- Worked in the catering and hospitality industry.

Language Fluency: English, Arabic
