Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A Delay Anaylst is urgently needed to work on a large land development in downtown Doha worth over QAR 2Bn. The successful candidate will evaluate the impact of design changes and variations on the program.

Duties & responsibilities:
- Project based tasks to include fact-finding to detailed analysis, quantification of delay and damages, economic modeling, and strategy formation.
- Demonstration of critical paths & consequent disruption etc.
- Development of the master and construction schedules, liaison with works packages contractors to ensure all programmes are consistent with the construction schedule.
- Production rate analysis and work cycle analysis to demonstrate entitlement to EoT, drafting of claim and negotiation strategy.
- Development of the works baseline programme using Primavera P6.
- Preparation in anticipation the defences to counterclaims and advise regarding retrospective analysis for EOTs, prolongation costs, disruption, programme critiques and delay analysis critiques.

Requirements

- Professional qualifications such as; MSc in Construction Law & Arbitration, MCIArb or similar equivalents are desired
- Extensive experience as a Delay Analyst
- Experience of working in the Middle East region is required
- Experience Time Impact Analysis and Extension Of Time claim submissions
- Ability to summarize the findings into a narrative substantiated by supporting documents
- Communicate the findings to the Clients representative in a convincing manner
- Strong IT skills are needed, particularly experience of using Primavera P6
- Strong interpersonal skills are required
