Procurement Job Purpose

AMMROC is going through an exciting growth and transformation phase where we are looking for strong talent to take our business to a world class customer support organization.

The focus of Material Planner position is to ensure that the right inventory is available at the various warehouses. The selected candidate will be involved in critical asset planning and allocation among fixed and rotary wing programs/platforms for material support issues related to items like consignment management to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) decisions

Duties & Responsibilities
•Designing and generating weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports
•Working closely with functional experts (Purchasing, Sales& Marketing, Operations, Finance and IT)
•Establish, conduct, continuously improve best forecasting techniques, method and statistical models for creating and maintain inventory levels approved by management
•Assemble and analyze all pertinent data elements (usage history, lead-times, seasonality, market trends, aircraft platform analysis, inventory, etc.) to maintain established operational readiness metrics
•Evolving and marinating documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems
•Prepare, report and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets)
•Coordinate MRP alignment with operations build plan
•Reviewing excess & obsolete material requirements and taking appropriate action to reduce inventory
•Provide LT analysis and recommend ordering material o forecast as necessary , based on projected production plan
•Work with purchasing to ensure 100% on time material delivery per MRP

Requirements

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirement listed below is representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required
•Strong knowledge and background in master scheduling , forecasting, planning and procurement within aeronautics industry
•Experience using SAP/ORACLE or other ERP statistical software packages
•Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities
•Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory
•Experience in managing life cycle parts
