Employment: Full Time

The role of Demand Planner - Arabic Speaker for a Multinational Business based in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) is to implement an effective Demand Planning system that maintains the company’s stock at a healthy level through periodical analysis of purchases & sales trends on a customer & SKU level & proposing corrective measures to ensure achievement of KPIs related to stock management

The Demand Planner will be interacting with the following job types within the business: General Manager, Customer Development Manager, Marketing Manager, Key Account Manager. Sales Managers, Finance Analyst
Puig Middle East Regional Office (Dubai) : Area Manager, Commercial Director, Marketing Manager, Brand Managers, Finance Manager, Back Office Manager, Commercial & Operations Executive.

Requirements

We require a candidate to have the following attributes:

- Arabic Speaking
- At least 2 years demand planning / Merchandise Planning experience

The role covers the following tasks:

Strategy

Working pro-actively with commercial & marketing teams to build an effective Demand Planning System by identify variances based upon historical performances and expected future activities to effectively plan inventory needs for future demand.

Execution

Update database with new references within the new frame
Monthly update of discounted references based on brands or division decision
Proper maintenance of items barcode
Screen all orders received from Sales Team before being processed by PSAS & highlight any discrepancy with the commercial guidelines to the GM
Highlight to the commercial team any overstocked or obsolete SKU’s to be liquidated in the market
Follow Up closely with PSAS to ensure orders are timely processed and delivered to the customers
Co-ordinate with PME Commercial & Operations Executive to ensure timely and efficient supply of shipments from HQ to warehouse
Assure timely price updates as per supplier communication
Regularly analyse current stock situation and calculate replenishment quantities for each reference, taking into account inventory value target and orders processed.
Ensure the purchases of new products in coordination with the Marketing Manager
Make sure all replenishment, new launches and POS are purchased within the budget frame
Ensure the proper implementation of the Grey Market scanning application.

Control

Monitor KPI’s agreed with HQ (DIO, DIO TAM, Gross/Net Inventory and Obsolete provision)
Monitor action plan to reduce obsolete inventory
Monitor stock entry procedures
Monitor PSAS KPI’s (In-full and on-time).
