Demand Planner – FMCG – Dubai, UAE (FMCG Experience in a ESSENTIAL)
A multinational FMCG Company is currently recruiting for a Demand Planner to implement and maintain FIRST focusing on in market sales (IMS) forecasting by performing monthly S&OP for assigned brand groups and to generate one agreed, time-phased forecast by product in volume based on sales history, trends and launch/ activity calendar for the assigned brand groups. This position will reports directly to Demand and Supply Manager and based in Dubai.

Key Accountabilities:
• Will be accountable to maintain forecast (short term/Long term), including all new product introductions.
• Review and authorize Supplier Service Agreements for aspects relating to Supply Chain Planning.
• Provide forecasting to new products introduction, maintain a project plan for launch, ensure 100% on time in full delivery as per agreed with market.
• Develop replenishment model for all products range
• Identify and carry out improvements in current business processes, systems and procedures to increase efficiency and utilization of current resources.
• Monitor and control full pipeline inventories to ensure availability as per requirements and minimize business waste.
• Provide demand forecast to manufacturing group as well as prepare production schedules by coordinating planning with Sales.
• Maintaining statistical forecast on different systems, evolving standard operating procedure for demand planning process.
• Maintain/measure baseline forecast against 3 months rolling forecast.
• Continuously improving forecasting methodology and approach.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain highest quality standards, ensure safe working practices and care for environment through total compliance with the guidelines set up in Quality, Health & safety, Environment, customer service policies of the company.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor from an accredited university with a focus on Commerce, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic or French is an advantage
• High proficiency in MS Office applications with emphasis on advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Team worker and able to work autonomously
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
