Demand Planner

Job description / Role

Overview:
* My client is a leading FMCG organisation, due to continued demand and growth are seeking a Demand Planner.

The Candidate:
* The successful candidate will be graduate calibre with demonstrable Demand / S&OP / Planning / Supply Chain experience.
* You have the ability to manage workload and identify priority tasks to meet tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of supply systems such as ERP, MRP or DRP.
* You will ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained in order to drive sales, whilst keeping within defined stock holding targets.

Requirements

* You will use all available data, manage systems & intelligence to achieve KPI targets for availability, product waste and customer fulfilment.
* Forecasting for product ranges and maintain SKU forecast data.
* You will work with new and established suppliers to ensure that the supply relationship is nurtured from the initial start of direct supply through to an effective working relationship.
* You will review and challenge supplier performance, in order to maximise commercial and logistical benefits to the business.
