Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As the Department Head- CSR & Sponsorship you will responsible of developing and implementing a sponsorship and CSR Strategy that creates recognition and help position the company, develops brand equity, and builds our short and long term growth  opportunities.

You will be responsible of developing the Sponsorship/CSR strategy to accomplish all pillars of the charter, developing a strategy in line with the company's corporate strategy and changing needs of the Omani Market, effectively implementing the step change required to cement the company's strategic sponsorship and CSR efforts in the Oman market, Lasing with Ooredoo on Group-wide sponsorship and CSR initiatives, making them relevant for the Omani market, crafting sponsorship/CSR plans and work with relevant internal stakeholder to implement them, managing and tracking goals and metrics, overseeing extensive employee volunteerism and charitable matching gift program in Good Will Journey that involves dozens of employees each year, developing and implementing plans in line with business marketing to support the B2B agenda, aligning the activity with the media and PR unit to drive strong media coverage and build the companies brand and reputation, taking primary responsibility for maintaining a internal and external CSR web portals, serving as internal expert and external representative on sponsorship/CSR issues, benchmarking competition and industry best practices, building effective relationships with senior executives and cross-functional sponsorship committee and advises on the development of initiatives that further our corporate social responsibility commitment and champion them within all departments, developing and maintaining a scorecard/ selection criteria for all CSR undertakings thereby ensuring a fair and even distribution and return of investment, managing reporting process, working with other departments to collect social and environmental data, undertaking business analysis to project accurate market impact of activities, managing the budget for CSR by ensuring that the overall spend is within the budget and ensure meeting the assigned guidelines and governance and effectively work with procurement and vendors to optimise cost and spend.

Requirements

You should have a minimum of 10+ working experience in business, 5 years corporate social responsibility and sponsorship experience with a university degree.

* Well-developed communication skills, both verbally and in writing 
* Influential, with political and environmental awareness
* Good written and spoken Arabic is mandatory
