Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Oversight on Strategy to budget process and ensure consistency and alignment across the Strategy to budget.
- Strategic Plan elaboration taking into account shareholders directives and Exco guidelines and endorsement throughout the process.
- Develop external/internal environment analysis to identify main opportunities/threat and reviewing former plans strategic priorities and level of ambition.
- Identify scenarios, strategic options and prepare strategic workshops to align stakeholders and seek input on way forward.
- Formulate and articulate corporate strategy and goals, and develop OOs road map.
- Identify top-down targets and required resources for the plan including OG alignment.
- Oversight on the development of the financial projections and resources allocation ensuring consistency and alignment with the strategic priorities.
- Prepare final presentation and participate in the OG review meetings.
- Pull together the overall AOP in conjunction with the 3YP including the identification of key projects to be implemented by the different areas in the year.
- Oversee the operational plan preparation Identifying main enablers and dependencies to achieve the key projects and ring-fence the resources.
- Validate alignment of plans with approved Strategic Plan & priorities. Prepare final AOP presentation for approval at Exco and OG,
- Managing the strategy and business analysis.
- Providing strategic perspective to the Management, related to market development and OO strategic position, perform periodic strategic analysis, submit periodic and ad-hoc reports.
- Leading, managing and motivating a team of direct reports to ensure the team members achieve highest levels of performance in order to deliver personal and departmental targets.
- Management of departmental budget.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or related Discipline. MBA will be a definite advantage. 10 years commercial experience is required, with significant telecom exposure.

A strong grasp of the technical and business aspects of the telecom industry is required. Previous roles with strategy, execution & transformation responsibility is an absolute must C-Level exposure.

Significant and in depth knowledge of business planning and strategy formulation Ability to read and interpret financial statements and do quantitative assessments. Experience in business planning processes in different working environments. Ability to apply forecasting techniques, develop and evaluate business goals and strategies. Familiar will all areas of telecom industry and strong technical and commercial background. Sound knowledge of finance management, risk analysis. Performance management implementation and monitoring experience.
