Deputy GM – Investment Manager and CFO - AED 40,000

Key responsibilities include:
• Responsible for the development and delivery of financial products and services:
• Identify potential new financial products and services
• Research, develop and launch an investment fund for MENA accepting 3rd party investors;
• Seek investors and prepare proposals to enhance products and services offered based on market demands;
• Create appropriate screening mechanisms;
• Introduce pricing scheme;
• Meeting P&L targets by closing on investments; Conduct annual review of financial products and services provided
• Originates and structures commercial debt financing supported by partial credit enhancement from the company;
• Manage the company funds;
• Develops advisory services including treasury management, cash management, capital structure to support commercial financing needs of Partners;
• Lead bank road shows and marketing of financing products;
• Participates in wide range of transaction types for MFIs, including off-balance sheet financings, term financing, private placements, and quasi-equity;
• Oversees deal flow pipeline and database of partner performance data and partner investment portfolio;
• Work with General Manager and Program Manager to develop additional financing products to meet the needs of existing and prospective MFI Partners;
• Networks with Microfinance Investment Vehicles (MIVs) and stays abreast of equity and debt fund activities;

In order to be considered for this role you must have an MBA and preference will be given to CFA qualified candidates. You should have at least 10 years experience in a similar position in investment banking, finance or private equity within an international organization. This role demands someone with excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills fluent in English and preferably Arabic/French. This role will require at least 30% of the time travelling abroad. You need to be flexible, adaptable and a natural leader.
