Deputy General Manager- Sales (Erbil- Iraq)

Salary- 22000- 25000 AED + Benefits as per company and by Law

Our client based in Iraq is a well-known Paints and Chemical company with over 15 years’ experience with office across MENA region. (Dubai, Saudi, Iraq, Lebanon, Oman, Nigeria, Italy, Kuwait and More)

Due to their expansion they are now seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager -Sales to be based in Erbil-Iraq managing and oversee the overall company performance of both employees and processes within the Iraq branch of the company.

Reporting to the Group General Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes the goals and objectives of the company
• Manages the organisational staff and senior management performances through effective key performance indicators, targets and goals settings as appropriate
• Analyses and assesses continually the organisation’s performance against the stated objectives
• Define the product sales & marketing plan, supervising sales and distribution of the products
• Capital requirements may include involvement determining company fixed asset needs and presenting a fixed asset budget to the GM and Senior Management
• Promote Talent Management through recruiting, selecting, orientation and training employees, maintaining a safe, secure and legal work environment, developing personal growth opportunities
• Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results, coaching counselling, disciplining employees, developing coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards.
• Establish strategic goals by gathering important business, financial services and operational information, identifying and evaluating trends and options, choosing a course of action, defining objectives, evaluating outcomes.
• Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements
• Profitability and sales may involve establishing and achieving sales and profitability goals and increasing the group market share through regular sales efforts, achieve and exceed sales targets, EBITDA targets and other KPI’s set by management
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishes related results as needed
• Interacting with clients for redressing complaints and understanding their requirements
• Ensure that work principles are followed and company policies are adhered to.
• Increase market share through regular sales efforts by supervision of sales team and reviewing sales reports and results
• Public relations may include building and maintaining positive relationship with all stakeholders

Requirements

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree within Business
• Must have more than 3 years’ working in Iraq senior management within medium/ large organisation
• Experience with managing teams at a strategic level
• Must have previous experience within Paint Manufacturing
• Portray leadership, training and organisation skills set.
• The ideal candidate would need to be enthusiastic, a team player and have “can do” attitude
• Male candidates are preferred for this role.
• Driving license required
