The Role


The Role


1. Manage all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, Zakah / tax and audit functions.

2. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of periodic financial reports of the Company and statutory reports to meet regulatory.

3. Monitor banking activities of the company & manage suitable forms of banking facilities.

4. Manage the cash flow of the Company in an efficient manner & ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.

5. Monitor investment management to ensure optimum utilization of funds and to realize maximum gains from available funds.

6. Define, develop and implement financial planning and budgeting framework in line with company strategy in order to support the achievement of overall business objectives.

7. Manage the expenses of the company within budgeted limits.

8. Develop and implement financial controls over all business operations of the Company.

9. Ensure ongoing Financial compliance with regulatory requirements.

10. Provide strategic support to top Management in all financial matters.

11. Manage the revenue portfolio in an efficient manner by ensuring timely collection of premiums by the concerned sales channels duly avoiding bad debts.

12. Monitor the ongoing efforts to streamline and enhance the automated solutions for achieving higher levels of efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of operations related to Finance.

13. Manage and coordinate the ongoing development and training requirements of subordinates.

14. Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems.

Requirements


Requirements


1. Basic university degree in Accounting/ Finance or Master degree preferably with CPA / CA /CMA qualifications.

2. experience in Accounts / Finance Departments in a large organization, of which at least 5 years in managerial position, preferably in a reputed General Insurance Company.

3. Minimum 8-10 years of working.

4. Excellent functional skills related to effective management of the overall financial operations and sound.

5. knowledge of the accounting standards, methodologies and regulatory requirements.

6. Sound experience in working in a totally automated environment for business and accounting operations as well as communications.

7. Professional in his approach and a team player.
