Job description / Role
Reporting to the Country Head (General Manager), the Deputy General Manager (DGM) will be responsible for managing the relationship managers and for revenue growth in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia region.
Increase the revenue via strategic business development with key clients in who are amongst Multi-National Corporates, Local top tier Corporates, Government Related Entities, Central Banks, Financial Institutions and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
The role will also oversee a team of Relationship Managers and provide direction to the wider team on strategy, best practice operations and business development.
Discuss Investment Banking transactions with clients and be the point of contact for the London product team.
Requirements
- An extensive career of Commercial Relationship Management in Europe and the Middle East.
- Extensive experience in managing a team of Relationship Managers
- Strong negotiation skills are required to successfully navigate relationships profitably.
- Exceptional financial acumen across products, industries and debt structures.
- Credit analysis experience is highly valued to be able quickly access deal limitations
- Access to clients in the MENA region
- Understanding of the current compliance landscape
- MBA or CFA from a highly regarded institution
