Deputy General Manager

Deputy General Manager - Power and Energy Construction - Sales/Business Development - Saudi Arabia

Our client is a well known international contractor with a strong presence in the GCC region. They are looking for a Deputy General Manager for power/energy sales and business development in Saudi Arabia. Applicants must have previous experience with sales and business development in Saudi Arabia, specifically related to the construction of power/energy projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
- Prepare sales targets with reference to the prevailing market situations.
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Provides timely feedback and business outlook to management regarding performance.
- Provides timely, accurate competitive pricing.
- Handle Key accounts relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Striving to maximize profit margin.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Organize the availability of company members for media/PR events as necessary.
- Oversee distribution of all marketing and publicity materials.
- Marketing Support to be provided to branches in the area, in terms of Product features, Strategy against competitors products, generating inquires.

Requirements

- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Familiar with Saudi Arabian markets.
- Previous construction industry experience preferred.
- Business development profiles are preferred.
- Previous experience employed by a contractor preferred.
- Civil engineers are preferred.
- 10+ years experience in similar roles.
- Must have previous GCC experience.
