They are currently searching for a Deputy Group Treasurer, the prime focus of whose role is to manage the day to day activities of the Corporate Treasury team,improve the operations processes, and manage the Treasury requirements for their Infrastructure Businesses. This will include negotiating facilities with banks and supporting the Group Treasurer on the larger funding projects.

The jobholder will be expected to be a well rounded Treasury professional and able to provide support and add value to the overall Treasury department. The job holder will also be an active member of the Group Treasury management team, contributing ideas, direction and experience to the Group's Treasury activities. The jobholder will be expected to deputize for the Group Treasurer.

The core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the day to day Kuwait Treasury functions, including cash and foreign exchange management, and systems, including the IT2 Treasury Management System.
- Develop and progress the existing Treasury team.
- Develop system based standard processes and enable the department to offer in house banking services to the Agility Group.
- Deliver all core Treasury reporting and management through the IT2 Treasury Management System.
- Support, as primary contact, the Infrastructure businesses within Agility on their Treasury needs.
- Manage small to medium credit facility negotiation start to finish across the Group; assist the Group Treasurer on larger credit facility transactions.
- Coordinate projects and initiatives with Corporate Treasury and Tax and other team members to promote inter-company lending and repatriation of funds to optimize post tax profit and efficiencies.
- Work with the BD teams on due diligence for bolt on acquisitions, or organic growth opportunities.
- Support on the funding requirements for the Agility Group on the larger funding projects, negotiate facilities with banks, manage the balance sheet structure and Agility's likely credit rating.
- Liaise with the wider Treasury team to deliver global cash management solutions.

Requirements

- Graduate with a Business/Finance degree.
- A formal treasury qualification from ACT (AMCT or MCT) or similar body is highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years in finance with at least 5 years' experience in Treasury including management and supervision of operational departments.
- Good systems and operational process knowledge.
- An experienced senior manager, used to operating with the top levels within an organization.
- Focus on introducing and following tight standardized processes in relation to cash, liquidity and foreign exchange processing.
- Needs to be experienced in people management for regular contact with direct reports, employees, managers and executives across all functions and geographies of the organization.
- Needs also to be used to regular external contact with banks, outside representatives including government agencies, and 3rd party service providers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
