The RoleThe RoleOne of my clients, a leading Telco company in Afghanistan, is looking for a Director of Network Infrastructure Expansion to work a long term contract. Basic Salary: $100K / Year (Tax-Free) Benefits: Accommodation, Transport, Class-1 Security, Medical & Life Insurance, 4 Return Flights, Food, Mobile, Annual Bonus, Termination Bonus, etc. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Build and grow the business delivering towards the strategic plan 2. Key contributor to the overall mobile commerce strategy 3. Oversee and assume full responsibility for all day to day activities related to the development and growth of the M-Commerce business 4. Effectively manage a team towards targets, while providing support for the growth and maintenance of the distribution channels, ensuring that agent experience is optimized 5. Manage the marketing team towards customer usage and awareness goals, while providing guidance and support as per the business strategy 6. Support the recruitment of corporate accounts to use M-Commerce for bill payments and salary disbursements while managing towards targets as per the business strategy 7. Look for new acquisition opportunities of business users 8. Ensure that all M-Commerce corporate business partners (agents, merchants etc) are well serviced, and look for new opportunities within for growth 9. Develop, foster and maintain effective relationships with various government, corporate and small enterprise companies. 10. Develop and manage the Business Development strategy ensuring growth and development of M-Commerce services in the business. 11. Ensure management of targets and KPI?s for all aspects of the business 12. Analyze revenue targets; investigate any shortfall & propose remedial action. 13. Through management of regulatory team, and relationships with the Central bank, ensure EMI (Electronic Money Institution) regulations are complied with at all times 14. Develop and produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required 15. Recruit, develop and retain team members to maximize potential 16. Oversee the development and execution of all training programs, ensuring they meet the customer, client and organizations needs 17. Oversee and manage the day to day relationship with third party suppliers |

Develop and approve agent incentives and promotions to drive growth of the business, as needed ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION ? Bachelors Degree in Business or related field - Masters Degree is an asset ? Demonstration of continuing education through courses, seminars, and or personal development EXPERIENCE ? Minimum of five years Operations Management experience, with a proven track record and attention to detail ? Minimum of five years experience managing and leading a cross functional team towards success ? Demonstrated commitment of doing what it takes to get the job done ? Experience in using customer data and field visit experience to manage the day to day growth of the business ? Demonstrated experience in building a business from the beginning and managing the business and team through the growth life cycle SKILLS AND VALUES ? Basic knowledge of accounting/financial standards and principles as well as policies, regulations and statutes governing accounts and ability to resolve financial and accounting problems. ? Ability to establish policies, priorities to manage and evaluate projects ? Ability to write comprehensive reports and communicate effectively with all levels of Senior Management, University, government, banking officials and the public ? Proven track record of being a team player ? Excellent communication and presentation skills ? Proven ability to think outside of the norm and present new ways of getting things done ?
