Job description / Role
Our client based out of Saudi Arabia is seeking to appoint a Saudi National to support the Chief Internal Auditor in managing the entire Audit program within the firm.
Reporting directly into the Chief Internal Auditor, you will assist in;
- Successfully delivering the Audit plan and program relating to audits within Capital Markets related businesses
- Developing & implementing the audit strategy and prepare the risk-based annual audit plan and schedules
- Lead audit professionals in conducting their audit assignments externally
- Analysing and assessing all relevant risks (market, credit, operational, legal and compliance)
- Identifying and evaluating the effectiveness of controls designed to address the above mentioned risks
- Preparing audit reports on all findings for senior management and Board Audit Committee
- Developing internal audit policies and procedures and implementation of them
- Communicating effectively with external auditors and keep up to date on legislative/regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Saudi National - due to the nature of the role
- Bachelors degree in a relevant subject area (Finance, Accounting etc.)
- minimum 8 years Audit exposure PQE
- Financial Services / Capital Markets exposure is a prerequisite
