Job description / Role
- Working closely with the Risk Director in the monitoring and management of all trading activities of the Global Markets and Asset Management teams.
- Assist in the implementation of global risk framework for the above businesses (limits, processes, culture, tools)
- Ongoing development of the risk infrastructure, including risk tools to monitor, measure, mitigate and report market and credit risk;
- Daily revaluation of client and house assets for reporting and reconciliation
- Assist the risk team in data analysis for management reporting purposes
- Focusing on structured products across FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Commodities;
- Analysis of trading/hedging procedures and controls
- Developing models for stress tests and scenario analyses to better understand the risk profiles of the clients and house portfolios
- Monitoring adherence to risk limits for all trading activities using quantitative measures, including Value at Risk (VaR) and stress tests
- Liaising with the desk and the risk team in analysing the modelling of complex transaction proposals
- Providing input for processes and controls around new products
- Counterparty analysis
- Assist in margin management analysis and reviews
Requirements
- Assisting in the implementation of global risk policies and procedures
- Assisting in the management and global reporting of KRIs, KPIs and KCIs
- Other job duties, as directed.
